Research and Development

The Vision of R&D is to drive innovation in order to maintain the organization’s competitiveness and enable future growth. By doing so, we foster member skill development, experiential learning, and building a culture of inquiry from within. While corporate R&D focuses on creating commercial products, we prioritize the educational and developmental outcomes for the members!

Specific Objectives:

  • Skill Development!
    • Enable members to develop research methodologies, data analysis capabilities, and scientific communication skills through hands-on projects. This can include teaching research design, data analysis techniques, and how to present findings effectively
  • Knowledge sharing and Awareness!
    • Facilitate engagement in research and promote awareness of research opportunities within the university and community. This can involve organizing workshops, seminars, and discussion forums that demystify research processes.
  • Innovation Culture!
    • Create an environment where members can try out new ideas in a considered, measurable way – experimenting with innovative approaches to business challenges, sustainability projects, or real estate analysis (aligned with the interest of members, of course)
