Founder

Sam Fong created Business Society with a passion to help similarly minded individuals exceed in the 21st-century business world. His goal was to “generate the future leaders of America” and since 2005, Business Society has been able to provide members with valuable skills and professionalism to ensure their future success. Being our first alumni and founder, we enjoy keeping contact and hearing about what he’s doing today. He continues to be an inspiration to members and many others.

Sam Fong’s career path started while in college and formed the Homebrew Investment Club. This club included over 200 investors in the Bay area. After graduating from UC Merced, he accepted a job in Beijing at a start-up company. Making the most of this job opportunity, he established a consulting company to help companies develop effective communication practices and work with an international clientele. Sam Fong soon started a bespoke apparel company with a partner in the Philippines, which designed and sold custom wedding dresses and suits and achieved profitability in the first four months. He also opened a gas station with the same partner. As of recent, Sam Fong has joined with RMA, a private equity firm based in San Francisco with a $1.1 billion under management.
